A complete picture of your technology — before you make another decision

Most technology problems are not really technology problems. They are the result of decisions made without full information. A technology assessment gives you that information — objectively, thoroughly, and without any vendor agenda.

Why this matters

Most organizations are making technology decisions without the full picture

When a vendor tells you that you need to upgrade your infrastructure, how do you know if they are right? When your IT support recommends a new system, how do you evaluate whether it is actually the best option for your needs?

Most organizations rely on the advice of the very vendors who benefit from their decisions. That is not an accusation — it is just how the industry works. But it means that the guidance you receive is rarely fully objective.

A technology assessment from Strategic Partnered Services changes that. We have no vendor relationships and no products to sell — so our only interest is giving you the most accurate picture possible.

What we review in a technology assessment

We look across your entire technology environment — not just the systems that are obviously broken. Some of the most valuable findings come from areas that appear to be working fine but are quietly costing you money or leaving you exposed.

  • Internet connectivity and bandwidth
  • Network infrastructure
  • Redundancy and failover
  • Phone systems and communications
  • Vendor contracts and pricing
  • Cybersecurity posture
  • HIPAA compliance gaps
  • Cloud and hosting environments
  • IT support and managed services
  • Technology spend and ROI

Real example: Healthcare network assessment

Six healthcare organizations — including urgent care centers, a hospital, and billing facilities — were experiencing network problems, slow internet, outdated infrastructure, and a failing legacy phone system. Downtime was threatening operations and patient access.

After a full technology assessment, Strategic Partnered Services identified connectivity gaps, redundancy failures, and contract inefficiencies — then guided the client through replacing their phone system and modernizing their infrastructure.

Improved internet speeds and added redundancy
Replaced legacy phone system with modern call center
Simplified vendor management
Saved more than $2,500 per month

How it works

Our five-step assessment process

  1. STEP 01

    Discovery conversation

We start by understanding your business — not your technology. What challenges are you facing? What outcomes do you need? What decisions are you trying to make? This context shapes everything that follows.

  2. STEP 02

    Environment review

We conduct a thorough review of your current technology environment — infrastructure, connectivity, vendors, contracts, costs, security, and communications. We document what you have and what you are paying for it.

  3. STEP 03

    Gap and risk analysis

We identify gaps between where you are and where you need to be — performance issues, security vulnerabilities, contract inefficiencies, redundancy gaps, and technology that no longer serves your organization.

  4. STEP 04

    Clear recommendations

You receive a plain-language report with prioritized recommendations. No technical jargon. No vendor pitches. Just clear direction on what to address, in what order, and why.

  5. STEP 05

    Implementation guidance

If you choose to move forward, we guide vendor selection and implementation — evaluating options, managing relationships, and keeping your interests at the center of every decision.

What you get

Expected outcomes

Clarity on what you have

A complete, documented picture of your current technology environment — often the first time organizations have seen this in one place.

Honest cost analysis

An accurate view of what your technology actually costs — including contracts, services, and hidden fees most organizations overlook.

Prioritized action plan

A clear roadmap that separates immediate priorities from longer-term improvements, so you know exactly where to focus.

Reduced risk

Identified vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and single points of failure — addressed before they become expensive problems.

Common questions about the assessment

How long does a technology assessment take?
The timeline depends on the size and complexity of your organization. Most assessments for small to mid-size organizations can be completed within two to three weeks. Multi-location or more complex environments may take longer.
Do we need to prepare anything in advance?
Not much. We will ask for basic information about your current vendors and contracts during the discovery phase. We do the heavy lifting — you just need to be available for a few conversations.
Is there any obligation after the assessment?
No. The assessment stands on its own. You receive a complete report with our recommendations, and it is entirely up to you what you do with it. Many clients choose to work with us on implementation, but there is no requirement to do so.
Will you try to sell us specific products or vendors?
Never. We have no vendor relationships, no preferred partners, and no commissions. Our recommendations are based entirely on what is right for your organization.
What does a technology assessment cost?
The cost depends on the scope and size of your organization. We are happy to discuss this during an initial conversation. For many organizations, the savings we identify more than offset the cost of the assessment — as with one healthcare client who saved over $2,500 per month after working with us.
